Caring for your LUMi
We recommend cleaning the exterior of the lampsshade by dusting with a soft brush
If the fabric is mouldy or stained, swab gently with a damp warm water-soap solution - please do not get the fabric too wet as it might separate from the lining
Use the same techniques for the interior of your shade 
the wooden base is made from untreated natural pine, which should not need any care other than dusting when necessary
you can increase the beauty of the wood  by treating with any wood conditioner or wax (available from hardware stores)
you can also easily change the colour of the natural wood if you wish to personalise it with timber stain, varnish paint 
Before doing any work on the wooden base remove it from the shade by firmly pulling it while holding onto the top of the shade
